Job Purpose:

To drive out IT requirements as well as to define the project scope, goals and deliverables that support the business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders with an overall understanding of the future business processes and current IT systems, whilst asking the right questions and challenging assumptions. To analyse the gaps and validate all information received. To deliver the change within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality by following standard project management processes.

Job Objectives:

  • To perform project scopes and to proactively manage changes in project scopes, identify potential causes and devise contingency plans.
  • Identify and communicate impacts, risks and issues timeously
  • To plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Acts as a liaison between the technical and business teams
  • Responsible for assessing the quality of change request that are logged by business champions
  • Investigates business opportunities and issues across applications and functionality and determines the most effective solution which is documented in the form of the business case
  • Adheres to the relevant governance processes such as the Project Management Lifecycle, the Systems Development Lifecycle, Architecture Compliance process, etc
  • Documents all business analysis work according to architectural standards, including all components of the business case and associated solution diagrams, such as context diagrams and process models
  • Works with the other business analysts to raise competency levels within the organization through the sharing of ideas and learning, and by participating in peer reviews
  • Performs the role of a �process architect� on projects, in consultation with the business and IT, understands the �bigger picture�, and strategic priorities which include the business operating plans and IT operating plans
  • Identify areas not achieving projected benefits and provide recommendation for improvement
  • Responsible for test scripts, business scenarios and testing
  • To effectively communicate project expectations to stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

Experience and Education:

  • Relevant B. Degree (essential)
  • 4+ Years Business Analysis experience
  • Industry Experience in Warehousing, Distribution or FMCG will be a definite advantage
  • 2 to 3 Years Project Management experience

Job related knowledge and skills:

  • Skilled in the use of business analysis tools and techniques, including the preparation of business cases, facilitation and interviewing, context diagramming, business process analysis, event-driven process modelling, data modelling, location analysis and organization analysis
