Gallo Manor: EMEA Systems Analyst (Marketing)

SA Systems Junior Analyst is an interdisciplinary specialist position working across EMEA, Marketing, IT, Supply Chain, Finance and Project Management.

The person on this position is responsible for providing systems support for SA marketing team:
• Leading systems issues solution process for GSAM or MAPS ( Marketing Systems specific to Company) (gathering issues, representing EMEA marketing in contacts with IT and acting as business leader in this process)

• SA & EMEA marketing systems administration. Day-to-day maintenance, verification of data consistency between all systems used by Marketing and Supply Chain. To provide accurate and timely analysis on the data flowing from Marketing Systems to Supply Chain ones, to identify the aberrations within the transferred horizon. Recording and passing to IT ideas from marketing about systems improvements.

• Providing system trainings for new systems users in SA Marketing departments

• Acting as first line of support for Commercial Marketing team in connection to Horizon, eProfile and CM issues, questions

• Leading new system versions testing for GSAM or MAPS. To provide an input and co-ordination to integrated testing process, ensuring that all assumptions are considered when developing a list of requirements (representing SA & EMEA marketing in contacts with IT and acting as business leader in this process, having knowledge to cover both systems)

• Line number management (final approval of assigned LNs) � if process is implemented in country of responsibility(currently not in South Africa)

Job Requirements:

University master degree

• Business knowledge � experience outside Company not required

• Business knowledge � experience in EMEA Marketing Systems team not required

• MS Office specially Excel and Access;

• Very good MS Visual Basic knowledge;

• Project management;

• Fluent English;

• Very good communication skills;

• Microstrategy knowledge � additional benefit;

• Good stress management is a must;

The Product Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting product development and
management activities. Oversees project plans and maintains appropriate documentation needed for key decisions and implementation hand-off. Act as a project manager on projects tied to the product roadmap. Assist with market research, business analysis and adhoc reporting on product status. Also assist the Product Manager with setting up, communicating and tracking all projects.


To successfully perform this job, the individual must be able to perform the following job
responsibilities satisfactorily

Assisting with the development and maintenance of the product roadmaps and business
plans as directed.

Create and maintains project documentation for key product initiatives and maintains
policy and procedure documentation for product design activities.

Completes approvals/agreements, project plans, impact assessment and other product
documents as needed.

Maintain Project Risk register

Coordinate with engineering team and various units to stay abreast of product
development and deployment, to ensure products are completed in advance of release

Participate in tactical activities with Marketing team on product updates and new feature

Serves as a liaison to the market research area, identify research needs, prioritize and
produce market research to inform product planning

Provide status update, reports and other documentation related to product performance

Attend regular meetings with the Product Manager and other service providers.

Ensure projects are run within budget and allocated time-line

Give technical input to proposals.

Act as a Product Council secretary


A National Diploma in Business or Marketing with a minimum 3 years of product or
project management related experience is required

Must have experience in coordinating projects and working as part of cross functional

Experience in with Microsoft Office suite is required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary

Ability to handle multiple tasks with specific deadlines is a must

Successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work well independently as well as
working effectively in a team environment

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work under pressure.
