QUALIFICATION (MINIMUM:

Matric

A degree or equivalent tertiary diploma or experience/track record that is deemed to negate this requirement

At least 10 years experience in a similar position

ACTIVITY

Controlling and Co-ordinating the planning and implementation of new hardware

Controlling the planning and testing of system changes before implementing in production.

Accountable for capacity planning exercises on the NonStop Platform.

Assisting with the negotiations with suppliers

Accountable for maintaining good relationships with users.

Responsible for taking ownership and timely resolution of problems

Ensure that the policies and procedures are adhered to.

Maintain good relationships with suppliers

Responsible Investigating new Products

Provide technology information & support on the NonStop platform.

Planning of NonStop configuration to ensure fault tolerance. BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCY REQUIRED Dynamic and Self Motivated Excellent interpersonal skills Multi-tasking Ability to function well under pressure Work after normal office hours. An ability to relate well to people at all levels of the organization and senior external parties Ability to trouble shoot problems and deal with them ASAP.
